Nautilus
When the nautilus hatches from the egg, it has four chambers already formed. As it grows, it moves to the larger space in the shell and builds a wall to seal off the old chamber. Clinical trials are conducted in four phases, the first starting with a small group of individuals, finding the most effective amount of medication, and then moving onto the next phase, learning and growing as the process moves forward. The nautilus is a reminder to never stop learning, growing, and expanding our view of the world. Clinical trials are conducted to advance medicine forward in hope to provide a better quality of living for patients.

“I have worked with Megan for the past 5 years in my role as a medical science liaison. Megan is a transparent collaborator and an advocate for the clinical trial needs of the patients she serves. She truly has a passion to bring research to the community oncology centers of the Midwest.
